Recently a man was sentenced in the United States District Court in East St. Louis, Illinois, to 188 months imprisonment for conspiracy to distribute in excess of 1000 kilograms of marijuana. This man was one of 17 co-defendants who have been convicted of transporting large quantities of marijuana from Tucson to East St. Louis; Atlanta, Georgia; Lima, Ohio and St. Louis Missouri between 2000 and 2007.
